Homemade spicy yogurt

Ideal for Sunday brunch, surprise the whole family with this delicious yogurt. Its spicy taste mixed with that of maple blends perfectly with the subtle rum flavor of our cake.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Material: none
Ingredients
750 ml (3 cups) 6% M.F. Balkan-type plain yogurt
10 ml (2 tsp.) ground cinnamon
5 ml (1 tsp) allspice (all-spice)
1 ground cardamom pod (about 1.5 ml (1/4 tsp))
90 ml (1/3 cup) maple syrup
Accompaniement
Chopped fresh fruit (optional)
Preparation
1. Mix all the ingredients well.
2. Lightly toast a slice of rum cake and top generously with spiced yogurt and fresh fruit. Serve.
