Perfect for Sunday brunch, surprise the whole family with this delicious yogurt. Its spicy taste mixed with maple goes wonderfully with the subtle rum flavor of our cake.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
750 ml (3 cups) plain 6% m.f. Balkan-type yogurt
10 ml (2 tsp.) Ground cinnamon
5 ml (1 tsp.) Allspice (allspice)
1 pod of ground cardamom (about 1.5 ml (1/4 tsp))
90 ml (1/3 cup) maple syrup
Fresh fruit in pieces (optional)
- Mix all the ingredients well.
- Lightly toast a slice of rum cake and garnish generously with spicy yogurt and fresh fruit. To serve.
